Project Overview
Pragmatic innovative approaches to Health system strengthening, Quality improvement programs, surveillance to improve MDR-TB case detection, HIV-co-infected clients for HAART as well as to prevent loss-to-follow-up clients and reduce morbidity and mortality. Encourage continuous dialogue with our communities through robust engagements through information sessions and capacity building on TB/HIV&AIDS, Employee wellness programs, Programmatic Management of Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (PMDT) Programs to raise awareness and understanding of MDR-TB disease, its manifestations, referral structure, and management.

Through effective partnership, Amity Health Consortium Projects works country wide providing support in all our communities with focus on key populations, the four DR-TB high burden provinces that contributes more than 70% of the disease burden in South Africa.

The International Association of Providers of AIDS Care (IAPAC) is pleased to announce the 6th International Conference on Viral Hepatitis (ICVH 2016), which will take place March 14-15, 2016, at the Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco.
ICVH 2016 is sponsored by IAPAC, in partnership with the University of California, San Francisco and the International Association for the Study of the Liver (IASL). The conference Co-Chairs are Vicente Soriano, MD, PhD (Hospital Carlos III, Madrid, SPAIN) and Norah Terrault, MD, MPH (University of California, San Francisco, CA, USA).
The annual conference is a forum for the presentation and discussion of state-of-the-science viral hepatitis research, as well as clinical perspectives in practicum, for a target audience made up of infectious disease (ID) and non-ID-specialized HIV-treating physicians, nurse-practitioners, physician-assistants, and pharmacists.
Nancy S. Reau, MD (University of Chicago, IL, USA) is confirmed to present the conference's Keynote Address, ‘After the Cure: Looking Ahead in HCV Clinical Management.‘

Conference Announcement
Adherence 2016 (11th International Conference on HIV Treatment and Prevention Adherence) will take place May 9-11, 2016, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA. Hosted by the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care (IAPAC), Adherence 2016 will be co-chaired by K. Rivet Amico, PhD (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA) and Michael J. Mugavero, MD, MHSc (University of Alabama at Birmingham, AL, USA).
Adherence 2016 is the premier conference dedicated to the presentation and discussion of HIV treatment and biomedical prevention adherence research, as well as current behavioral and clinical perspectives in practicum, within the context of achieving an optimized continuum of HIV care and prevention.
Adherence 2016 will take place at a critical time in the fight against HIV/AIDS, as the global HIV community coalesces around ambitious 90-90-90 targets and aims to scale up access to biomedical prevention, including postexposure prophylaxis (PEP) and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). Key to attaining the 90-90-90 targets and facilitiating the scale-up of biomedical prevention interventions is the optimization of HIV care and prevention continua and mitigation of barriers such as discrimination and stigma, including in healthcare settings.

Offline registration closes today, 11 November. Any registration forms received after midnight CET will not be processed. Delegates wishing to pay by bank transfer will need to register offline. Send your registration form to registration@theunion.org along with a copy of your bank transfer order before the end of the day. Any payments made via bank transfer after that deadline may not be received in time, and the registration not processed prior to the conference. Online registration will be available until 30 November and delegates will also be able to register on site. On-site registrations are payable in cash, travellers cheque, or by credit card.

Imbizo is a vibrant space where communities involved in the fight for lung health will come together for discussion, support, learning and inspiration. Imbizo – meaning a gathering, usually called by a traditional leader – will host a range of sessions, displays, discussions and performances from community organisations and civil society.
